Why did I immigrated for a second time in my life and decided to not go back?

Have you ever lived in not a *legal* country ?

It will be almost 5 years that I had come to Sweden 🇸🇪 , the main reason my come to Sweden. It’s educational opportunities in design area and in mind lifestyle in here was 180 opposite to TRCN.

The main reason for my immigration.

First of all for hope and equality, being Turkish Cypriot bring up with full baggage of discrimination and obstacles with in your own community and outside and it’s hard to break down lenses come up with growing up isolated country to the world.

Secondly, As creative I was drained from all the political and economical problems going on, Nor you don’t have to practice Speculative design or be futurist to forecasting darker dystopian future becoming reality for us. As politically active person with activist sprint I thought it would be not a brainer that if I have used my freedom speech that would mean prison time for thoughts crimes.

Last but least, I didn’t want to fing worry if I would able afford buying milk, yogurt, breed. I didn’t want to worried about increasing crime rates and system that’s protect criminals and nurture environment for them furnish and reach full potential.

Cyprus has complicated history of war, colonialism systematic impact to power scale in the area to geopolitical position of island. It is not a wonder with recent leaked information it is tie up massive black money, crime and drug trafficking. Tiny island messing up the life of millions.What I am writing here is not reflecting on Cyprus government. Unofficially there are two governments in the island. Cyprus Government created after end of British colonialism in the island back in 60s and TRCN created after + 10 years of conflict and war happened during 60s and 70s… you are welcome to educate your self if you are interested in the topic or being history nerd. Unfortunately, as far as I know it is bit challenging to find objective information on this issues. Because there has uncountable pain, lost etc and war is not as simple as it’s showcased in many entertainment outlets.

Side reflection

Would I immigrated if Cyprus govern by sensible, just, social governmental system. No! Cyprus has one of the most beautiful nature you can dream look at myths and history surrounding Island.

Initially, Sweden wasn’t in part of plan after I completed my education. But life happened and I meet love my life…at a time Germany or Denmark were more interesting me.

Why we should welcome create workforce/ immigrants. Because my dear racist person, you need immigrants to keep your retirement system in tag. Otherwise your social system will collapse…

In my opinion, if we remove force immigration in global scale that would one of the biggest parameter that as humanity we solved many systematic problems.
