- brain fart from 30 something decade into design

Al tools advancing so fast, I feel like it pedal to medal at this point we as humanity losing control of it with our policy and regulation surrounding it. from researcher perceptive with social media , metaverse ideas we are defining new way living , norm etc for better or the worse .Sometimes it is crazy to predict near future or decade into future. I have been slowly learning geometry notes / lens studio / Unity / grasshopper. I come to point that I need to change how deep and how much I learn these tools.

As I have been part of design world almost decades design tools & trends comes on goAs a generalist it is better focus on variety rather becoming craft master in certain tools.

I have been focus on more academical learning or skills can be referred as soft skills last couple years (#writing#lecturing #participatorydesign , #aidesign #ethics#ethnography #designresearch ) but going forward I will aim refresh some of the practical skill sets .

Thoughts from fewer / brain fart thinking from last night .

- learn base on curiosity but don’t be 🙈

-be aware of time as parents up you don’t freedom time as much as before baby🍼👨‍🍼

- learn in away that you can utilize chatGpT and more advance tools upcoming decade ( Don’t fight with advance / ai tools use them in your advantage )

-While focusing more practical skills never let go ( #participatorydesign #ai #sustainability #circularity etc #methodological #approach #speculativedesign#designstrategy )
-One person can’t do everything design is team sport

- Don’t race with future generations early 20s of todays and next decades , be relevant to process, bring your experiencies from academia, methodological approach and research as I have been teaching design for awhile ( Combine force together to forge inclusive and diverse environments)

-Learn tools serve exploring aesthetics of interaction with physical or XR products and services, combine doing mini experiments around participatory design and speculative design ( research tool kit in Ar ? Quick tools for cocreation workshop)

- Explore your interest digital fabrication be aware this can be stay more as hobby/maker level depending your career trajectory

-Have a fun 🤩 Life long learning as your daily dose of creativity and entertainment…
